A New Year’s Tradition

Every New Year’s, or the day after, Matt and my brothers watch the Winter Classic.  It’s a hockey game that is played outdoors every year consisting of 2 teams who are contenders for the Stanley Cup that season.  This year it’s The Rangers (NY) and The Flyers (Philly).

The past few years the game has been played on New Year’s, but this year it was moved to the day after so that it wouldn’t be competing with football.  I don’t really watch it with the boys, but I did make some snacks for them this year…buffalo chicken dip, The Pioneer Woman’s Salsa, and I really outdid myself when I set out some spreadable cheese and crackers.  Boys are so darn easy to feed.

Happy New Year (a day late)!
